At New House, we?ve always believed that the environment must be taken seriously.

We do our best to ensure all our products are manufactured to the highest environmental standards by very careful British or Swedish producers, and that any waste we produce is properly recycled.

We always prefer to use our excellent local manufacturers, which mean our ?product miles? are low compared to many others. Our wood products come from Yorkshire or Cornwall, glass from Bath, ceramics from Malvern, aluminium from Cheltenham or Bristol, leather from Somerset, and textiles from Derbyshire or Sweden.

In addition, many of our roller blinds fabrics are tested annually by an independent body and awarded coveted Oeko-tex 100 certificates. This means you can be sure that no harmful chemicals are present - such as pesticides, heavy metals, formaldehyde, biocides, etc, which may cause harm to human health. Many of the yarns used in our trimmings collection, have also been awarded Oeko-tex 100 certificates.
